Korean Restaurant in Pleasanton, ca
Korean Village…
This is the best Korean restaurant in the Pleasanton, Tri-Valley so far.
This place located front of Valley Plaza. Turns out it’s facing Santa Rita Road you can see it while you’re driving cross Valley street.
Play Korean drama on the big screen TV. No bbq fans on the tables, I didn’t expect this restaurant is good for Korean bbq.
So, I ordered Duk Mandu Gook (korean dumpling & rice cake soup). The lady (maybe the owner) was very sweet and even made small talk with us about hot outside weather. Server said the dumplings were handmade and you could definitely tell that is home made dumbling.
We got about twelve small dishes (banchans), although two of them were the same (bean sprouts). Most of them were pretty good! My favorites were the spicy squid, the dried squid, the spicy radishes and the sweet potatoes (they actually made it well).
Overall, I’d say that I’d have to try other dishes to give them a higher rating. And the lady is super duper sweet!
